(The character Karma belongs solely to my good friend, Tay. He is her creation. Elair, however, is mine, along with Keleios and Aingeal. Again, these are all role-playing characters.)

The room was neat, almost tidy. Only a small pile of dirty clothes on the floor next to the master bathroom door kept the room from being completely clean. A king sized bed sat in the center of the far wall. A man with unruly hair the color of a spider web caught in the light lay naked on the bed, curled against another naked man with white-blond dreadlocks. He had one arm flung across the other man’s stomach and one leg laying across his love’s, knee almost touching the blond’s manhood. The silver-haired man’s face was peaceful, a happy, adoring, loving smile making his face even lovelier. His chest was rising and falling in deep, even movements as he slept.

The blond woke up, blinking his liquid-amber eyes. He looked at the man curled to him, a smile curling his lips upward, slightly stretching the beauty mark near his nose, on his left cheek. He slowly moved Elair’s arm and leg off him, then got off the bed, trying not to wake him. He went into the bathroom, leaving the door open.

When he came back out of the bathroom, the man on the bed was gone. Karma’s heart stopped beating for a moment, then sped up, almost doubling its normal speed. He ran to the bed. Something seemed off, wrong.. It didn’t look like anybody had gotten up but himself. He felt the bed where Elair had just moments before lain, but it felt cold. Karma frowned, pulled on a pair of boxers and ran from the room. He would have gone naked, but he didn’t want the girls to see.

He searched the entire house, every nook and cranny, but he found Elair nowhere. He called his cellphone, but he heard it ringing upstairs in their bedroom. All Elair’s clothes were there. It didn’t look like he left; it looked like he just disappeared. Neither Keleios nor Aingeal had seen him lately.

Karma called the police, but since he hadn’t been gone 24 hours, nor was there any sign of a struggle, they couldn’t do anything. No matter what he said, nobody would listen. “Maybe he just went out for a while,” they’d say. But he knew they just didn’t care.

Elair woke with a start, gasping for breath. His whole body seemed to be trembling, and he felt cold, so cold.. But this kind of cold could not be fixed by warmer clothes and/or warm blankets. He raised up on one elbow, his black eyes wide and scared as he watched his love. His breathing had slowed, but was still a little too fast.

Karma yawned lightly, keeping his eyes closed, though he was now awake. He smiled, his hand reaching for Elair’s. As soon as his hand closed over Elair’s, their fingers lacing together, Karma felt the trembling. His smile wilted, his amber-liquid eyes snapping open and surveying Elair’s face. He noted the smile, though since he knew Elair so well, he knew the smile was fake, meant just to keep Karma from worrying. He noted that his love’s eyes were a little too wide, his face a little too pale, and his breathing still a little too fast. He moved close to Elair and snuggled into him.

“What’s wrong, honey?” he whispered.

Elair answered:

I dreamed I was missing
You were so scared
But no one would listen
Cause no one else cared

After my dreaming
I woke with this fear
What am I leaving
When I’m done here

“Oh, ‘Lair-bear..” he said, holding Elair tightly to himself. “You will be leaving me behind.. Our love.. My love… Our family..” He blinked a few a times, hot tears spilling down his cheeks and splattering onto Elair’s neck.

Elair didn’t say anything, just snuggled back, tears of his own spilling from his eyes. He buried his face into Karma’s chest, breathing in the scent of him. His body still trembled, and when he took a deep breath, it shook on its way out. He sighed, snuggling as close to Karma as was possible.

He continued speaking:

So if you’re asking me
I want you to know

Karma began running his fingers slowly through Elair’s silver hair. His other hand very gently and very slowly caressed up and down his love’s spine, trying to comfort him.

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I’ve done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed

“But you have plenty of reasons to be mis-” Karma began.

Elair placed a single finger over Karma’s lips, pressing very gently, asking him to hush and let him speak. Karma stopped talking and just listened. He softly kissed his love’s finger, causing Elair to smile when he let his hand fall away.

And don’t resent me
And when you’re feeling empty
Keep me in your memory

Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest

He paused for a just a moment, gathering his scattered thoughts. He gave a soft a sigh, snuggling closer to Karma.

Karma sat up, leaned back against the headboard, and pulled Elair up into his lap. Elair leaned back against Karma, twisting slightly when Karma started to do it for him. Karma moved his hand up and gently began to caress Elair’s cheek with his thumb.

Smiling a very small smile, Elair began again:

Don’t be afraid
I’ve taken my beating
I’ve shared what I made

I’m strong on the surface
Not all the way through
I’ve never been perfect
But neither have you

So if you’re asking me
I want you to know

“Oh, ‘Lair-bear..”

“It’s okay..”

“I love you so much, ‘Lair-bear..”

“I know, and I love you, too, Karma…”

Karma held him tighter, and Elair started feeling slightly better. Slightly. He wondered how to put the next part into words… And then he sighed. Taking a deep, shuddering breath, he snuggled more into Karma, and continued speaking.

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I’ve done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed

Don’t resent me
And when you’re feeling empty
Keep me in your memory

Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest

Karma placed a feathery-light kiss upon Elair’s temple, which earned him another small smile. He leaned into Karma and kissed him softly, lovingly, his arms lightly wrapping around his love’s neck.

Whispering against Karma’s lips, he went on.

Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You’ve learned to hide so well

Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can’t be who you are

Pressing his lips hard against Karma’s, Elair kissed him fiercely, demandingly. He wiggled slightly, his bare ass grinding into Karma’s naked manhood. He thrust his tongue into his love’s mouth when he gasped, kissing him very deeply, very passionately, and very… thoroughly. Karma returned the kiss with just as much passion and depth.

Elair pulled away, still grinding his ass into Karma’s manhood.

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I’ve done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed

Don’t resent me
And when you’re feeling empty
Keep me in your memory

Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest

Karma moved Elair off him, laying him slowly down onto his back. If he wanted another reason to be missed, by God, he’d give him one. Elair watched Karma as his love pulled his legs over his shoulders and positioned himself at his entrance. Elair’s eyes fluttered shut as a low moan escaped his throat.

Forgetting
All the hurt inside
You’ve learned to hide so well

Karma entered him roughly, kissing Elair deeply as they lace their fingers together. He moaned into the kiss, and Karma ate it up as he sheathed himself completely inside Elair’s ass, feeling him already tightening around himself. Tight.. Elair was so tight…

Pretending
Someone else can come and save me from myself
I can’t be who you are
I can’t be who you are

“I don’t want you to be who I am.. I want you to be you…”

“I love you, Karma.”

“I love you, too, ‘Lair-bear,” he said as he started pulling back out to the tip, then slamming back down into him

He found a slow, almost gentle pace as he moved in an out. He found it harder and harder to keep his pace as he listened to Elair panting and moaning. His rhythm faltered, and he moved harder and faster, going deeper with each thrust. Elair’s moans came louder, quicker.

With every moan that came from Elair, Karma moved faster and harder, going as deep as he could get. The muscles in ‘Lair’s ass constricted tight and tighter, squeezing Karma’s manhood. Every fast and hard thrust made his ass constrict tighter and tighter, making Karma have to work for thrusts.

He moaned very, very loudly at a particularly tight squeeze, and he began thrusting as fast and as hard as he could, one hand dancing along Elair’s manhood, squeezing and tugging it. Elair moaned loud and louder, the pleasure almost overwhelming him. The orgasm took them both by surprise. Karma spilled his seed deep inside Elair while Elair himself spilled his own seed over Karma’s hand. He lay back, panting, and Karma collapsed on top of him, still sheathed to the hilt inside him, and they both fell asleep.

(I used the lyrics for Linkin Park’s song “Leave Out All the Rest” in this story. I do not own these lyrics. All ownership of the lyrics belongs to Linkin Park and their producers or whatever they’re called.

I will be changing this at a much later date so that I’m not actually using the lyrics.)
